The First Step
Florida Hospital's Healthy 100 Church Ministry is providing Pastors and their spouses an opportunity to live life to the fullest - in body, mind and spirit - with the uniquely designed Clergy Wellness Project.
This opportunity is being sponsored by Florida Hospital as an investment in community wellness and is offered to pastors with a desire to be a part of the Clergy Wellness Project for one full year.
First Quarter (Getting Started)
- Meet with a Florida Hospital Health Ministry Liaison to discuss the Clergy Wellness Project
- Complete project application and a short online health and wellness inventory
- Receive a Celebration Health Assessment, a specially tailored head-to-toe executive health evaluation for clergy and their spouses
- Spiritual and counseling resources available through Care for Pastors Institute, as needed.
- Receive a one year YMCA family membership with complimentary wellness coaching through Coach Approach
Second Quarter
- Opportunities to attend Pastoral Care and health "Lunch & Learns" and other continuing education events.
- A follow-up session with healthcare professionals to discuss Celebration Health Assessment goals
Third Quarter
- CREATION Health Retreat with spouse
- A follow-up session with healthcare professionals to dsicuss Celebration Health Assessment goals
Fourth Quarter (End of Year)
- Celebration Health follow-up and final comparisons for pastor and spouse
- Complete end-of-program onine health and wellness inventory
- Program review with the Florida Health Ministry Liaison
- Referrals for health and wellness are made, if needed.
